Where Was She Going With That?
There’s an interesting analysis at the Huffington Post about Hillary Clinton’s colossal gaffe regarding her campaign, her husband’s campaign, and why she’s sticking around until after the California primary in June.
What Robert F. Kennedy’s assassination has to do with her hanging in until after California is utterly beyond me. In fact, it was a canine, head-twisting, I-don’t-understand-but -if-you-give-me-a-cookie-I-will moment when I first saw the video and tried to figure out the thought process behind it. It seems she’s made matters worse during the damage control phase by virtue of the fact that she can’t seem to simply say “Sorry. I screwed up.”
Have a read through the piece, then scroll down to the Keith Olberman commentary from MSNBC. I don’t know who Keith Olberman is (our cable companies don’t allow MSNBC into our living rooms), but he’s a wonderful editorialist, and he’s particularly articulate when he’s angry. It’s a rant worth watching.
